My 5 month old son has not used a pacifier for the last 2 months but now due to sleep problems i am considering re introducing his pacifer at night. Will this cause buck teeth?

  • Pacifiers if not used frequently and the use is stopped at age of around 2-3 years will not casue buck teeth. When the adult teeth come out and the child is not having any bad oral habbit then the teeth come in normal alignment. The effect of pacifiers depends on intensity and frequency of its use. So if you really want to give your son pacifier then try to stop the habit after 1 year and then it won't have any effect on teeth.
