I got my lower molar extracted 4 days ago and now the side of my tongue is coming to contact with the extravtion site when i swallow, sort of sucking my extraction site. This is also causing my saliva to exceed in one side of my mouth.

  • it is normal. It will take a couple of days for the extraction site to heal. It takes around 3 to 6 weeks for the extraction site to fully heal. Till then some have the excessive saliva. Maintain good oral hygiene. Do warm saline rinses 2 to 3 times a day and follow all the instructions given by your dentist.
