My son has a strip of enamel almost looks as if it could be a band aid crossing tooth from one end to the other. It looks like extra enamel that is covering the cusps. It also looks as though it is flattening tooth. The funny thing is, it is on both premolars, not just one.

  • It can be hypoplasia of tooth. This happens due to many reasons like the patient has some systomic problem when that particular tooth is being formed, at that time he may be some fever or illness or some sort of trauma, which has caused the problem in tooth bud and the enamel of the tooth has this sort of problem.
