I had a gum and bone grafting surgery done 2 weeks ago. One of the stitches came loose and got caught and pulled the gum a little bit off in the worse area under the 2 bottom front teeth. I cut the stitch out so it wouldn't happen again. I can't see a dentist for at least another day. What should I do? I can see a gap in between the back gum and the front that is loose. The gum in the front did not seem to adhere like the others did. A lot of the bone graft appears to have fallen out. Is it ok to eat still? Do I need to get it restitched? What would you say to do? Thank you

  • since the surgery was done 2 weeks ago so by now the healing should be there. but if you still feel that the gum is loose then prefer not to irritate that area till you see the dentist. maintain good oral hygiene and avoid eating from that side .For more info on gum surgery you can visit the following link on our website.....
