I have a swelling behind the right front tooth. The gums have been in that area for the past 2 weeks. I tried mouth washes, i tried salt water, i tried ice, i tried pressing on the swollen area, but nothing. I dont know if its maybe food/bone thats stuck in there, or if it is something more serious...

  • If the swelling is there since last 2 weeks and it is not going even with the salt water then may be something is stuck there which is not coming out or your tooth is infected and because of that swelling is there. In both cases you have to visit your dentist who will do the clinacal examination and if needed take the X-ray. You should not delay it as the infection can cause the bone loss which will eventually loosen the tooth. For more info on dental infections you can visit the following link on our website...
