Knots on lip side, upper gum after extractions last year, I am being fitted for dentures, dentist says top denture will fit around the knots.... Is this gonning to be a problem in the future??? Do these knots need to be removed before being fitted for dentures??? Thank you for your consideration...

  • Normally before going for dentures the bone should be well rounded and smooth. There should not be any knots on the ridge. The knot on the ridge causes the problem when the denture is fitted. You can discuss this with your dentist. For more information on denture and complications you can visit the following link on our website. ...
