I went to the hospital 2 weeks ago for a toothache, they gave me antibiotics but I can't get into the dentist for 2 months is it dangerous to wait that long?

  • If you have an infected tooth and had already taken the antibiotics then it is better that you get it treated. Any infection in the oral cavity is not good, if left unattended. The dentist will do the clinical examination and take the x-rays to find out the extent of damage. He will make the treatment plan. If the tooth is restorable then maybe you have to go for root carnal treatment followed by crown but if the tooth is not restorable then you may have to go for extraction of the infected tooth.
