  • There can be many reasons for the pain and swelling in the front teeth. The swelling in the gums can be because of gum problem which is caused by the poor oral hygiene or some kind of food impaction, causing irritation of the gums. The treatment is to do warm saline rinses and massage the gums with some OTC aqvailable gum paint but if poor oral hygiene is the cause then you have to get the scaling done. The pain and sweeling in the front teeth can be because of tooth infection also. If there is some sort of trauma or the teeth are decayed . Without clinical eaxamination and the X-ray's it is difficult  to give the diagnosis. So visit your dentist and find out the correct cause of the problem. The treatment depends upon the diagnosis.
