I have a couple teeth that cause me pain when i bite down into food and such. They don't hurt any other time, unless I bite down, but they feel like they have pressure in them or on them.

  • If you have pain while chewing the food then that means either the tooth is infected or you have some gum infection. For this you have to visit a dentist, who will do the clinical examination and take the xrays and find out the cause of pain. Without seeing the case clinically, it is difficult to give diagnosis. If the cause is the tooth infection then may be you have to go for root canal treatment and if it is due to gum infection then some gum treatment will be recommended.
